Investing in Workplace Health
Stand Up to Work is an original study designed to assess the health impact of newly introduced adjustable workstations in a traditional office environment. We intend to assess the sustainability of behavioral changes that may be induced by the intervention.
This investigation will contribute to a broader initiative currently being led by the Center for Active Design and Steelcase to develop a set of guidelines entitled Active Design: Workplace Wellbeing. This multi-stakeholder collaboration will translate available research and insights around health, behavior, and communities of best practice into a holistic set of actionable design strategies.
